An iFix is an "Interim Fix" in IBM speak. They come out periodically between IBM Rational Rhapsody releases and can be accessed from Fix Central.
A support site that is useful may be this one:
https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21986180
It lists what iFixes are available without needing to search Fix Central, hence I thought I'd share the URL in case it's useful.
It's worth knowing that the Rhapsody team packaged the 8.3.1 iFix003 quite well. You can run a setup.exe as administrator that does the install. The previous manual steps have been automated which is good.
Understand the art of the possible. My mission is to make executable Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) easy with the Object Management Group's Systems Modeling Language™ (SysML®) and UML® to make simple modeling easy to deploy to the masses. This site provides practical experience of tuning IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® - a precision engineering UML/SysML tool. Rhapsody tips and ideas will be posted with links to videos. You can follow by email (if google app is allowed).
